if you have Windows Xp then:
Click on Start->Run
type there c:\Documents and Settings
push "enter"
choose your Profile (it's probably your start up windows profile name...)
go to Start Menu->Programs

Now you can create folders here.. for example Microsoft office.. after open that folder and with hold down on right mouse button drug from c:\program files\microsoft office\office12 (if you have office 2003) folder next files .. one by one..
excel.exe (when you will drug it into new folder under start menu.. after releazing the button it will pop up with small window of options .. copy.. move.. create shortcut ..
choose "Create shortcut" .. and that's it..

That way you can fix it up..

Hello...
It's very sad to hear about that... Maybe you got some viruses.. or windows messed up?! it happens a lot. Probably it's not your fault, either their too. Cause, I'm just thinking.. what for they need to mess with your windows and returned it bad without fixing it... (it's pretty easy to run windows repair and fix that problem. it will take 1-2 hours only, or just add that programs to start up menu again. also will take not much time.) and of course you will see that problem and will call/come back (as you did). No business need that kind of problems and unhappy customers.

Best wishes,
April

While a very dramatic account of events, this lady is very wrong. She brought a laptop in with a broken screen. We, The Little Laptop Shop replaced the screen only and never went in to the operating system. She even admitted this. Her demand was that since she paid us money (to replace the hardware only) that we should fix problems in her operating system. A technician sat with her for 10 minutes and explained to her how to fix the files she moved but had to get back to other work. This is when she became irate.
